Not only will your Mustang look better, but this component also works as a completely functional Ram Air product that will boost performance with an increase in horsepower. This product is available for the V8 and V6 models! We have completely overhauled the design to incorporate a more OEM look under the hood and offer more flexibility for customers with centrifugal superchargers and aftermarket cold air intakes. The scoop is still made from high-quality die-cast aluminum. More details outlined below The under hood is designed to utilize the OEM Mach 1 drip tray for a clean look and now easily accommodates centrifugal style superchargers. New flexible air tube design that works with many types of air boxes and cold air intakes. Shown above with the stock air box. The scoop is the same powder coated die-cast aluminum scoop from all CDC Shaker Systems. The trim ring is molded UV stable ABS plastic which doesn’t require paint and offers a clean finish on stock hoods.
